All tracks were written and produced during the month of February 2014.
Each of these pieces contains an element recorded in the field
while working in Scotland Feb 2-7. I carried my Zoom H2 with me and
recorded the workings of a textile mill producing tartan cloth on looms
from 1926. A bus tour of the Highlands yielded the cover picture and bits of narration from the driver. The solemn beauty of
that landscape became the inspiration for this CD.
